Gahhh, Technology

Letters are mailed!  Hip hip hooray!

International student e-mails -- err, not so much.  After wrestling with this for the past couple of hours, we've discovered that we simply cannot send them today, because a particular computer system needs to update overnight.

Internationals - we will have e-mails for you by 5 pm tomorrow!  You'll still have your decisions ahead of 90% of the domestic students.  Fair enough.

  1. Bitterly disappointed. Son is on so-called 'alternate list'. Nothing said about how many are on the alternate list. Also, what about financial aid? Is financial aid available to alternates?

  3. Have all the emails been sent out? I believe it's almost friday in california already, long past 5pm, but I see no sign of an email from HMC in my inbox/spam folder :(

  5. REJECTION. Probably doesn't help that I was ranked #1, male, 800-800-650 but graduating from an academically unacceptable HS. Dream school, inspired by Day 9--who my interviewer had no clue about. Still set for a great school. Game over!

  6. Where I live, there are frequent problems with the postal service, and today my mail was lost. So the letter is sitting in someone else's mailbox, and the Office of Admission is closed until Monday. How am I going to find out if I'm in or not?????

  10. No letter here either. Though we do know that a friend from his school was waitlisted, so mail does make it this far. Still waiting.
